About Dr. Lisa Fitzpatrick
Lisa Fitzpatrick is the CEO of XcelABLE, an occupational health and workforce-readiness company helping organizations improve workforce safety, prevent injuries, and support better return-to-work outcomes across industries and global markets.
An occupational therapist with more than 30 years of clinical and industry experience, Lisa has personally performed more than 10,000 Functional Capacity Evaluations and has worked extensively with employers, insurers, brokers, physicians, and rehabilitation professionals on complex occupational health and return-to-work matters.
Lisa earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy with a research focus on work ability and the factors that influence an individual’s ability to work safely and sustainably. She has presented nationally and internationally on ergonomics, injury prevention, chronic pain, Functional Capacity Evaluations, and work ability, sharing practical and evidence-informed approaches to improving workplace health and safety.
Her clinical experience, research, and work with employers helped drive the development of Work360, XcelABLE’s workforce-readiness platform, which brings together functional readiness, health and readiness information, biometric insights, cognitive performance, and clinical oversight.
Lisa’s work spans construction, transportation and logistics, maritime, manufacturing, and other safety-sensitive industries. She is particularly focused on developing workforce-readiness strategies that can provide consistency across global operations while adapting to local workforce and regulatory requirements.

Today, she continues to lead XcelABLE’s growth and international expansion with a simple goal: helping organizations better understand whether their people are ready to work safely.
